Winter Wine Weekend 2019

Join Us for Our Inaugural Event  |  February 22 - 24, 2019

OVERVIEW

In partnership with Bluestone Vineyards and James Madison University Hart School of Hospitality, Sport and Recreation Management, Hotel Madison presents our inaugural Winter Wine Weekend: a learning, tasting, experiencing weekend dedicated to wine and the transformative grape. This is a one of a kind event, for beginners and connoisseurs alike, that you will not want to miss.

The event will feature seminars, speakers, wine and culinary events, wine films, a blending workshop and more. It will give you access to some of Virginia's finest winemakers and certified specialists as they teach you about growing, tasting and aging wine. You will taste wine from South Africa to right here in the Shenandoah Valley in both the sessions and The Grand Tasting on Saturday. Representatives from Riedel the wine glass company, will be on hand to demonstrate why it really matters what you drink your wine out of, then give you 4 glasses to take home.
